For more than 25 years, Penny has focused her law practice on employment defense and business immigration. She provides employers with practical and effective counsel on all day-to-day employment issues, including compliance with federal laws (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, ADEA, NLRA), employee discipline and discharge, discrimination, wage and hour issues, union relations, OSHA, and OFCCP compliance, and immigration rules. Penny also regularly prepares employment agreements, separation agreements, and all other forms of business contracts. Penny has represented clients before the U.S. Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, OSHA, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals, Illinois Department of Labor, Illinois Department of Human Rights, Illinois Human Rights Commission, and Illinois Department of Employment Security.

Penny is a graduate of Duke University (A.B., Political Science) and IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law (JD, with honors).
